Payments team that manages highly distributed, international, and high volume buyer payments related features, integrations, decisions, and data.

From the user journey of seeing, selecting payment types and completing the necessary flow, eg Credit Card w/ 3DS, Apple Pay, WeChat Pay, etc, to the payment processing integrations and downstream actions, eg payment authorization, cancellation, settlement, refund, chargebacks, with multiple payment service providers.

Also includes the architecture and work to enable rapid experimentation, payment routing configurations & logic, fraud detections, and different features of payment between users or within a single user that requires complex internal systems to align with our market place data and accounting audit systems.

Full stack dev on building new consumer banking products outside of our core mortgage products. Developer and maintainer of a new micro-service for user identity verification.

• Designed and developed a new micro-service for abstracting 3rd party integrations with various identity verification vendors in a uniform way which used to be implemented within multiple individual services.

• Adapted and iterated designs of the identity verification service, working with other teams' PM, engineers, managers who wanted to adopt usage of it, and launched the product live successfully.

Full stack dev on building new consumer banking products outside of our core mortgage products while working closely with prospective / early customers, product managers, and designers.

• Took ownership of a previously inactive microservice for auto loan products

• Developed multiple features integrating with 3rd party services to obtain estimated vehicle values based on car details and to provide additional cross-sale in auto loans

• Switched to deposits account products and developed features for supporting inviting anonymous users back into additional follow ups and various features. It required re-tooling existing code base from other teams and worked closely cross teams to improve and adapt the design and implementations.

• Finalized scope of new feature unifying internal tools functionality for dynamic remarketing.

• Designed SQL data queries to obtain data with sophisticated business logic on backend with App Engine and a framework for asynchronous API services with Java.

• Created data visualization w/ AngularJS, new client models, controllers w/ data aggregation logic.

• Designed detailed testing plans, rollout plans for release between different components.

On team promotion-analytics - dealing with external business tools, UI, and promotion recommendation and analysis for Amazon market vendors.

• Finalized a design of a promotion campaign recommendation feature with a feedback system.

• Created dynamic web views with controller, backend API in JSP & Java with Spring Framework.

• Served and updated relevant data with high performance using Elasticsearch.

• Created new data pipeline storing data to S3 and import to Redshift periodically for analysis.
