My advice to anyone innovating: Remember that "What" is nothing without "Why?"

2022 — 2023
HuntAKiller.com is "The Mystery Destination" showcasing 30+ murder mystery games, a screening room, puzzles, and a store filled products and deals.
Day to Day
▪ Write product requirements documents (PRDs) for developers, artists, and executives
▪ Strategize and implement analytical UX testing
▪ Direct site art and design
▪ Manage Dev and QA processes
▪ Manage site content
▪ Write copy, slogans, and taglines
Successes
▪ Relaunched and rebranded the website focusing on products over subscriptions. This resulted in the discovery that the company should focus on retail outlet sales of lower priced games rather than higher priced subscriptions plans.
▪ Launched the themed "SOTO" Screening Room in 48 hrs
▪ Produced the guerilla ad campaign, “What Happened to X?”
▪ Produced “Month of Mystery” for the 2022 holiday shopping season
Failures
▪ Elevator pitch for the product still requires a long elevator ride

Greater Los Angeles Area
Day to Day
▪ Produced OceanView, a video streaming service, applications console, & content management system. It serves as the "Roku for the middle of the ocean."
▪ Directed the OceanView team which is also spread across the globe designing, building, activating, and supporting cruise ships everywhere in the world.
The COVID-19 pandemic divided my cruise industry experience into 4 distinct chapters: Pre-Pandemic, Shutdown, Return To Service, and Cruising in a Post* Pandemic World.
Successes
▪ Joined during the Pre-Pandemic chapter as producer of an existing but neglected OceanView and its CMS. I set forth on a course to maintain the product while simultaneously garnering support from partners to propel OceanView, which had a higher engagement than any other OCEAN product, to become a true premium product for guests. It is now a media platform that cruise guests want to use, ship crew can manage, shoreside operations can support, and third party developers can build and support apps.
▪ Produced new OceanView TV Apps and features during the Shutdown chapter: OceanDining, OceanSafety, Gangway Access, Autoplay, Content Queues, Holiday Theming, Bulk Content Editing, Bulk Content Importing, & Skip Intro), a shoreside OceanView Master Authoring Environment, OceanView Analytics, Remote TV Diagnostics, Live TV on mobile, and Menu Localization
▪ Reactivated OceanView on 4 ships in person and remotely supported my colleagues activating 4 other ships in a single year for Return To Service.
▪ Defined the communication method and process as well as the path for issue escalation and resolution. This was key to navigating the Cruising in a Post* Pandemic World chapter.
▪ The Medallion Project redefined the entire guest experience for the world's largest cruise company world in 18 months ...and it works to the enjoyment of guests and crew.
Failures
▪ The Medallion Project burned a lot of matches to achieve our success. (Ask me about months of ship quarantine.)
2016 — 2018
Santa Monica, CA
At Fresno (the company), dealt in big data and content development ...the Silicon Valley kind of big data and the Hollywood kind of content. That landed Fresno in the middle of the two industries. Fresno (the city) is right in the middle of those locations. As Director of Product Management at Fresno, I was right in the middle of Engineering, Creative Content Development, Data Science and User Experience.
What I was doing:
▪ Produced PCH (Premium Content Highway), an analytics platform for the purposes of data driven content creation.
▪ Conducted research and gathered requirements to craft use cases and user stories for PRDs.
▪ Created actionable insights tools with producers, writers, and show creators as the main users.
▪ Conducted weekly “Product Hours” to communicate with internal stakeholders and further refine the direction of the product. Product Hour also served as a feedback tool for any and all phases of the design/development cycle and as the preparation for sprint planning.
▪ Partnered with Facebook, Snap, Warner Brothers (Stage 13), Nielsen Media Research.
▪ Focused ad spend on Stage 13's campaigns.
