• Owned full stack feature development and on-call support for high-performing Command Center product, a real time analytics and vehicle tracking platform used by full-time operations support team of 20+ to manage and facilitate service operations
• Improved reliability and reduced latency of customer checkout to under 300 ms by building fully asynchronous API checkout flow via Kafka and Cosmos DB from legacy synchronous flow in Assignment Management system
• Re-optimized joins and determined need for additional key indexes to reduce P99 latency from over 1 sec to less than 500 ms after investigating and optimizing legacy underperforming MySQL queries using SQL EXPLAIN and Azure diagnostic info
• Established Kotlin schema, endpoints, and logic to link incidents to in-progress orders, identifying cause for 90% of vehicle down time
• Created sticky filters in Command Center by leveraging TypeScript and Zustand store to write user-selected values to local browser storage
