Conducting software and signal analysis for NASA’s SunRISE mission under the mentorship of Professor Mojtaba Akhavan-Tafti and Professor Justin Kasper.

I lead the design and implementation of high-performance Python-based data pipelines and machine learning models for analyzing radio signals and predicting solar flare events with improved accuracy. I developed advanced signal processing techniques, including denoising algorithms and automated drift rate detection, which enhanced time-frequency data quality by reducing noise artifacts by over 40%. Additionally, I contributed to interferometric studies and the optimization of ground-based antenna array configurations, leveraging baseline modeling and spatial correlation analysis to improve signal resolution and detection sensitivity by an estimated 25%. My work integrates signal processing, statistical modeling, and ML-based classification to support real-time heliophysics research.

Research outcomes will contribute to NASA’s SunRISE operations in 2025.

As Treasurer on the Executive Board for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at the University of Michigan, I manage the full financial operations for one of the university’s largest engineering student organizations. I oversee budgeting, expense tracking, and reimbursement processes, and serve as a liaison between SWE members, the executive board, university financial offices, and corporate sponsors to ensure transparency and compliance. Prior to being elected Treasurer, I played a key leadership role in organizing the university-wide Women in Leadership Conference, where I secured corporate and university sponsorships and coordinated programming aimed at professional development for women in STEM. I also led the planning of global volunteer trips for our section in India, helped organize technical workshops and networking events for members, raised funding for large-scale events, and proudly represented our section at national conferences, career fairs, and legislative trips advocating for women in engineering.

I contributed to the modernization of the company’s UI platform by migrating legacy CSS-based components to MUI and a custom design system, which reduced average page load times and cut bundle sizes.

I spearheaded the development and integration of Versana’s first automated UI testing suite, utilizing Playwright, Cucumber, and TypeScript, to achieve end-to-end test coverage across key user workflows. By embedding the test suite into the Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline with parallel execution, I helped reduce regression testing time, accelerating release cycles and improving deployment confidence. I also partnered closely with software engineering mentors, product managers, and QA engineers to validate and ship redesigned client-facing pages and components, resulting in a successful rollout with zero significant UI regressions reported post-launch.

Mentored summer research projects for New Jersey’s top 60 high school students, focusing on projects associated with UCLA and NASA. Led a research team on the development of a Binary Ninja plugin for DE obfuscating mixed Boolean arithmetic expressions using Python and C. Collaborated with NASA in the execution of CAD design and development of lunar surface workstation using Autodesk.

Inventor. Coordinated conference review for 13 research papers covering fields ranging from patent engineering to cybersecurity.

Understanding and analyzing the workflow. Also training in Go and Typescript programming languages as a new member of the MASA Software team. As part of the Software team, I will be a part of the team creating the code for the functional operation of MASA’s next collegiate rocket: Limelight, which is set to launch in 2025.
