As a Principal Product Designer on the Innovation Team, I helped design and shape a visual product line management platform built to transform how merchandisers plan assortments and collections. The product enabled merchandising teams to visually sort, regroup, and analyze complex assortments in order to make smarter line planning decisions. Given the depth of functionality required for enterprise retail clients, the challenge was not just adding features, but integrating numerous capabilities into a cohesive, intuitive system that could flex to each client’s unique workflows and business rules.
In this role, I operated at both the strategic and execution levels. I partnered closely with product management and engineering to define experience direction, simplify complex merchandising logic, and ensure the platform could scale across varied client configurations. The system required thoughtful interaction design, data visualization strategy, and modular thinking to support high levels of customization without sacrificing usability.

I led and developed a multidisciplinary team of UX designers, production designers, and content editors while helping build a cross-functional innovation team focused on using patented AI technology to rethink the travel and ecommerce space. We operated like an internal agency, supporting multiple verticals under the Tripchamp brand and balancing startup speed with long-term product thinking.
In this role, I defined the UX vision across platforms and connected design strategy directly to business outcomes like member acquisition, engagement, and retention. I partnered closely with product, engineering, sales, and marketing to shape feature priorities and ensure customer insight was embedded into every major decision.
