Conceptualized, built, and deployed routing and scheduling algorithms for addressing the B2B Employee Transportation problem for Uber's High Capacity Vehicles (HCV) offering. Worked on the end-to-end development of a solution:
• Researched and compared various state-of-the-art approaches.
• Sourced, managed, and cleaned various test datasets for the problem.
• Employed reinforcement learning techniques, such as Genetic Algorithms, to achieve superior performance.
• Utilized various parts of Uber's tech stack to build a GoLang microservice endpoint using the Glue+Fx framework. Employed Uber's in-house tools: including database querying tools, storage solutions, workflow orchestrators (Uber Cadence), and maps ETA services.
