I worked with the rider rentals team, where I use GoLang and Java for developing microservices. I primarily focused on improving the reliability and performance of the team's offerings.

Worked in the automation of configuration and management for thousands of load-balancing devices under the Edge Traffic Delivery (Site Reliability Engineering - SRE) Team:

• Wrote programs to automate numerous aspects of the load-balancer management process, including configuration validation and deployment. Built scalable software that interfaced with numerous APIs.

• Worked on the end-to-end development of an internal dashboard/search-engine to assist SREs in querying relevant information to diagnose, troubleshoot, and address production issues.

Conceptualized, built, and deployed routing and scheduling algorithms for addressing the B2B Employee Transportation problem for Uber's High Capacity Vehicles (HCV) offering. Worked on the end-to-end development of a solution:

• Researched and compared various state-of-the-art approaches.

• Sourced, managed, and cleaned various test datasets for the problem.

• Employed reinforcement learning techniques, such as Genetic Algorithms, to achieve superior performance.

• Utilized various parts of Uber's tech stack to build a GoLang microservice endpoint using the Glue+Fx framework. Employed Uber's in-house tools: including database querying tools, storage solutions, workflow orchestrators (Uber Cadence), and maps ETA services.

Coordinated the publication of BITS Pilani's monthly newsletter, which reports on the various happenings on campus, and frequently features interviews with administrative heads, professors, distinguished guests and alumni, and heads of student bodies.

Managed a team of more than 40 undergraduate students whose articles reach thousands of members of the campus community and alumni.
