Lead an engineering team developing an application that helps the Air Force plan missions 85% faster and is in use 24/7. (React/Typescript, Java/Spring, Postgres)

• Edits displayed in real-time across sessions with WebSockets via RabbitMQ, improving situational awareness of the plan across on-base Air Force personnel.

• Kept the product stable through extreme team churn as 30 engineers, five designers and six product managers came and went on the project in just one year.

• Took sole development responsibility for LifeLock’s mobile app API backend (Java, Spring) which achieved 4.5 stars on Google Play and 5 stars on the iOS App Store and over 1 million downloads during my tenure.

• Transitioned into a unified web and app backend API role as stack was overhauled in Node.js 6.11 with Swagger contract validation. Writing client-facing APIs that interface with data APIs and BPMs, collaborating with architects and always calling out issues in standups, meetings and code reviews.

• Frequently contributing to internal company package that centralizes logic for communicating with data APIs and BPMs. Agile development with Jira, logging management with Sumo Logic, CICD with Jenkins.

Full-stack development and support of IronPlanet's website using servlets, JavaBeans, .jsp's with jQuery, Bootstrap 3 and some Flexbox, interacting with an Oracle DB. Created responsive no-refresh pages seen by tens of thousands of users. Designed, programmed and performed project management duties for admin pages to streamline common internal operations.
