I was a Front End Engineering intern on the Web Speed and Infrastructure team at Facebook. Worked in Hack to improve typing on the boundary between Flow (Javascript) on the client and Hack (PHP) on the server.

Work included large scale internal API changes in Hack, Hack code generation and code parsing with Reasonml (a modified syntax of OCaml).

I interned on the Investing team at Nerdwallet working on the retirement calculator product and internal tools.

• Using React/Redux, created and owned a highly extensible internal tool for a complex Financial Prediction Engine to allow visualization of large data sets.

• Developed new features and bug fixes for a complex Python Financial Prediction Engine.

• With React/Redux built new features, made bug fixes, and refactored parts of the Nerdwallet Retirement Planning Tool.
