• Designed and implemented an observability stack using Kube-Prometheus Helm Charts, with additional components like Grafana, AlertManager and Thanos to improve metrics and logging across various

Dgraph clusters and availability zones.

• Co-developed a CI/CD pipeline and autoscaler for testing (open-source and internal) Dgraph DB,

Dgraph Lambda and Badger across ARM/x86 architectures using GitHub actions, AWS EC2 instances, and python scripts.

• Automated the deployment of new build images to respositories like DockerHub and ECR, enhancing

the reliability and tractability of our code releases.

• Gained experience with coding, testing, and deploying Java and Python applications that run a publishing pipeline. This pipeline supports content upload on JSTOR.

• Quality code delivered using Gitlab CI/CD practices, rigorous code reviewing with Github, and various development configurations in MacOS.

• Followed modern engineering practices and tools such as automated testing, JetBrains IDEs, and iterative design & development using DevOps thinking.

• Joined regular on-call rotations to fix production workflow failures and was responsible for PagerDuty alerts for critical issues.

Gained experience as a front-end web application developer with the Search & Explore team which optimizes the search experience for users on the JSTOR website. This role involved:

• Adding fixes for user-facing bugs on search UX that involved handling dependencies with different teams’ backend applications.

• Gaining experience with CI/CD methods and tools such as Jenkins with various development environments and configurations.
