As a part of the Infra team, I have led and delivered large-scale and ambiguous design projects, translating broad, conceptual ideas into valuable, functional designs for over 70,000 internal users. My expertise includes crafting intuitive flows and experiences that simplify complex actions into accessible interfaces. I have a strong track record of designing new experiences and layouts that not only enhance visual systems but also continuously evolve them, ensuring our designs meet the ever-changing needs of users.
• I designed a cutting-edge repair automation tool for Meta’s global data centers that streamlined server repair processes, saving about $10 million monthly.
• I led the design and deployment of Meta's Generative AI, LLaMA, creating Metamate as the interface for internal users. Metamate interacts with LLaMA, a language model fine-tuned on Meta's internal resources like code, tasks, and wikis. This allows any Meta employee to use Metamate to quickly resolve issues, automate workflows, and enhance productivity through simple commands.
• I improved an Industrial Control System platform at Meta, focusing on proactive issue detection and enhancing threat visibility in operational technology. This work boosted data center security and usability for engineers and stakeholders.
• I developed a tool to evaluate components and systems for building or modernizing Data Centers. This tool replaced outdated spreadsheets, serving as the definitive source for engineers to verify the status and details of each component. It cut the evaluation time by approximately 7 business days, which reduced costs and furthered Meta's sustainability objectives.
