Single-handedly producing a checkpointing tool for programs in C to be integrated in an HPC compiler, as well as a web solution.

Was a teaching assistant for multiple classes, here are the 2 most important ones:

Object Oriented programming with Java:

• Conducted class, taught 75 students OOP concepts in Java such as Inheritance, Polymorphism, Encapsulation, etc.

• Holding weekly lab and office hour sessions, offering students assistance by likening real-life problems to the problem at hand.

Microprocessors and Embedded Systems (Graduate course):

• Taught 10 students the process of creating an embedded system, IP creation/validation, and FPGA testing.

• Creating and grading student submissions for challenging yet informative projects in VHDL, and C.

• Using TDD, I Rewrote the X-Ray detector image quality tests for the calibration software for Hologic’s 3Dimensions mammography system, a class II medical device from IDL to C#, using Visual Studio, making the tests run up to 2000x faster.

• Saved Hologic $11,000 in IDL licensing fees per year, as the project removed IDL usage from source code.

• Added ability of image quality tests to be run mid fabrication process, improving yield, shortening total testing time.

• Maintained the project using P4V source control, ensuring it was completed with effective collaboration with a team of 2 interns. It also allowed our work to be referenced for future updates as well as enable Swarm Code reviews.

• Fixed multiple bugs in the main production code of the calibration software.
