• Secured backend api’s using apigee gateway combined with an OAuth authentication strategy

• Architected a node module that exposes Kubernetes health probes that ensures the health of microservice dependencies

• Maintained and scaled both the frontend and backend of Zume’s subsidiary brand, Zume Pizza

• Rewrote order placement process from a synchronous to an asynchronous procedure and moved it to its own microservice

• Ensured system stability by implementing New Relic alerts that monitored Zume’s entire suite of microservices

• Wrote unit, integration, end to end, performance, and mutation tests to ensure the maintainability of authored code
