Exabeam is a cloud-based security operations platform that uses machine learning to detect cyber attacks and assess risky activity.
At Exabeam, my focus was 1. Designing and launching a suite of FinOps data products and 2. Ownership of GCP cost management initiatives.
I was responsible for designing, developing, and managing an MVP Looker project for GCP cost reporting from ground up:
• Delivered groundbreaking financial reports highlighting the costs and profit margins of Exabeam customers, utilizing data mart models I designed and implemented.
• Architected and maintained data pipelines merging GCP billing exports, Salesforce (SFDC) connectors, and FiveTran ETLs.
• Built C-level dashboards and reporting on Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), gross margin (GM), and costs for individual product lines and customers.
• Product managed the dedicated Looker project for financial data reporting. Owned Looker project role, user, permissions, and security management.
• Implemented a cloud cost auditing product that uncovered billing inconsistencies, resulting in $2M+ savings realized annually.
I managed multiple cloud cost management and pricing initiatives across all teams at Exabeam, amounting to $1M+ in savings:
• Managed Exabeam’s Cost Data Product, driving cost reduction initiatives, implementing cost savings frameworks, and building Exabeam’s cost data mart.
• Designed cloud data labeling system for GCP resources and coordinated with engineering to implement, accounting for 95+% of cloud spend.
• Coordinated with Finance, SRE, and Product teams on purchasing Compute savings plans and managing BigQuery slot reservations.
• Championed awareness initiatives with Sales and Engineering to reduce orphaned cloud resources and implement best practices in cloud spending, reducing costs by $1M+ annually.
Tools used include: BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Looker, Salesforce (SFDC), MySQL, FiveTran

As an analyst on the Profiles Data/Navigation teams, we build, maintain, and support universal datasets for 3 core products:
• user profiles
• residency navigator
• workplace navigator
Profiles Data is the "source of truth" about Doximity users. This data is the foundation supporting every Doximity product, from Ads to Networking.
• Build and own user data marts and ETLs using SQL, Python, Airflow, and dimensional modeling design principles.
• Build and maintain interactive Looker dashboards representing user profiles data marts.
• Analyze and explore new datasets to enrich Doximity’s user profiles data marts.
• Data analysis and user matching done in Python/Jupyter; verified datasets incorporated into DAGs (ETLs) using Python/Airflow.
Residency Navigator is a first-time user experience to help med students choose a residency. This product’s data mart had accumulated tech debt and I was tasked with refactoring it entirely.
• Design new data mart schema and pipeline for aggregation and transformation of product data.
• Write automated Python tasks to merge, join, and update data, replacing legacy manual work.
• Proposed and implemented changes to our scoring and ranking algorithms for residency program data.
Workplace Navigator is a product we launched in 2020 that helps doctors navigate their career paths.
• Analyze email CTR, open rates, and user flows to optimize email campaigns and landing page design during MVP stage. Leveraged web analytics and attribution data (Segment).
• Designed and built ETLs for data pipelines that query, aggregate, merge, and refresh product data.
• Worked closely with Product analyzing user navigation, email engagement, and review submission data to grow an MVP into a fully reliable physician resource.
• Build and maintain Looker dashboards representing product features, navigation, and user engagement.
Tools used include: Snowflake, Looker, SQL, Airflow, Python, Dimensional Modeling, Jupyter, Segment

Bazaarvoice is a SAAS platform for collecting and hosting ecommerce ratings and reviews.
I progressed from Data Analyst to become a Product Manager for three data platform products: Curations ROI Reporting, ROI Beacon, and Client Portal (SSO).
Curations (formerly FeedMagnet), a photo-centric product, was an acquisition of Bazaarvoice. My team integrated this data mart into the Bazaarvoice platform.
• Drove +$2M annual increase in Curations sales/upsales in 6 months.
• End-to-end product launch included: Gathering requirements, prototyping, engineering, marketing, training, documentation, and post-launch analytics.
• Delivered first of its kind ecommerce ROI reporting for hundreds of Bazaarvoice customers.
The ROI Beacon was a Bazaarvoice data product that enabled conversion funnel reporting for customers. I grew the product from a minimum viable product (MVP) with <10% customer adoption to 66% adoption (~30 billion transactions annually).
• Delivered turnkey customer integration time, a reduction from 4+ weeks.
• Boosted customer adoption by 10x via ROI-focused awareness campaigns.
• Managed data pipeline/ETL for new reporting product, from initial MVP to 66% customer adoption.
Client Portal: Bazaarvoice's customer interface for data reporting and management. Supported 10,000+ users and 10M+ visits annually.
• Launched SSO for customers, reducing 5+ sign-ins to one/user/session with a consistent design.
• Delivered streamlined data reporting features and enhancements for customers.
• Won Client Satisfaction Award for U/X improvements (SSO) at Hackathon 2015.
