Brought in to build python/TS microservices using a variety of frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django) for transactional processing, develop CI/CD for Kubernetes deployments and aid delivery.

• Created automated API tests that would be triggered after each commit, saving valuable developer time and maintained code coverage of 85% +

• Pivotal in delivery of key releases to secure major clients and funding – ingress / egress service responsible for schema validation and ETL for building payloads that allowed for 5k concurrent transactions, where there was no concurrency previously.

Joined the platform and data squad to deliver data applications to the business and manage the batch and ETL systems. We used Apache Airflow and various AWS services for our pipelines which were both event driven and scheduled.

• Streamlined batch processes and reduced runtimes by 40% allowing further scalability for the company, at maximum we had around 200k customers.

• Capably dealt with incidents in batch processes, performing RCA and informing relevant teams of any impact.
