• Designed and implemented event driven ingestor for static code analysis (SCA) infrastructure, resulting in 100% coverage of committed/changed code on internal AWS git server.

• Scaled SCA infrastructure from scanning 2k code repos daily to over 500K repos daily since I joined the team through multiple ingestion methods and system designs.

• Integrated SCA service with GitHub API to provide security coverage to all public repositories owned by AWS.

• Invented fingerprinting technology that generates a unique identifier for security vulnerabilities in code. The feature has scaled to dedupe over 10 millions findings daily.

• Led a project to create a distributed service that ingests code repositories, requests static analysis scan, submits the findings to an API, and automatically closes findings using the fingerprinting technology that I invented.

• Developed an API as an away engineer for another team that reduced the time a ticket would be issued from 30+ minutes to under 2 minutes. Saving the org wide project 3 months.

• Mentored summer intern through lead by example, weekly meetings reflecting performance and answering daily questions. Resulting in a successful intern project and a return offer.

• Pioneered the development of benchmark automation for the Oculus Rift HMD, which saved 20 hours per week in manual testing and improved accuracy of VR benchmarks.

• Developed automated benchmark scripts for 10 desktop video games in Perl and contributed the results of automated runs to reports for leadership.

• Improved the process of developing automation scripts for video games by enhancing libraries to reduce boilerplate code that is needed to develop an automation script.
