AI Group, NLP & Information Extraction - Worked on real-time news signal extraction + story generation

Researching, developing, and deploying end to end machine learning solutions at scale. Areas include entity resolution/record linkage, information retrieval, time series forecasting + classification, and motif discovery. Spearheaded data science/ML development efforts on greenfield projects, resulting in release of three new ML products.

First ML hire, laid the groundwork for data analytics infrastructure and led machine learning and advanced analytics initiatives to drive growth across product portfolio and optimize business operations.

Naturally, at a startup with <50 people, the infrastructure was not ready when I joined. I worked on planning + executing the company's data strategy, sourcing and integrating data assets from third party API's, developing the pipelines and databases to enable data science work, and building the data science team.

Problems I worked on include: lifetime value modeling, customer churn prediction, customer segmentation, marketing mix optimization, and customer support ticket clustering + classification.
