As the only designer during my time at Nori, I supported the product, marketing and sales team by leading and doing the design across its supply and marketplace product, website, brand, Discord community and in-person events.
I created the design component system and worked with engineers to implement it. I worked with our Customer Success team and interviewed farmers to make our data more approachable and easily understood by customers. I designed a new website and visual brand for Nori to reach its varied supplier and buyer audiences. I created a new logo and visual identity system for Nori to prepare for their token launch. I supported the sales and marketing teams with in-person event graphics, slide decks, and social media marketing material. I collaborated with the sales team to conduct and analyze customer research interviews across our various customer types to inform the sales team strategy. I delegated to and guided our marketer and freelance designer in creating on-brand assets as cross-team design needs grew outside my individual capacity.
Nori is a blockchain-backed carbon removal marketplace on a mission to enable global engagement for mitigating and reversing climate change via carbon removal. Currently, Nori sources carbon removal by supporting farmers adopting regenerative agriculture practices that sequester CO2 from the atmosphere. Nori provides transparency and protects against double-counting by minting carbon removal certificates on Ethereum’s blockchain.

As Drift scaled, so did our approach to building product. During this time, I focused on refining early Drift products and designing for scale. I helped define the Drift design system and created Design Lab to keep the team close. Along with product design, I also did Growth Design for 6 months.

As the 7th teammate, I designed, launched and iterated on key features that would become the base of Drift today. Specifically, the chat widget used on over 50,000 websites, the Meetings product that's helped customers book over 500,000 meetings, the gmail extension downloaded by 10,000+ users, the scaling billing system to accommodate various pricing strategies, and more.
I conducted user research, user tests, and iterated quickly with my team on numerous ideas to help us find product market fit. And for a bit, I put on my marketing hat and helped with our website design and illustrations.

As a full time intern I did both UI/UX work. I wireframed and designed a variety of features for mobile applications that were built and shipped in-house at Blade. I also helped with branding, user testing and the creation of marketing material for these applications.
