I worked on the developer experience team improving the internal component library and working on various projects to enhance the UI. Among other work, some of my tasks included:

• working with services team to configure tables in PostgreSQL tracking licenses to limit access to enterprise features

• remodeling a key builder page in Typescript integrating with an internal component publish feature reducing build times by 33%

• fixing race conditions related to app startup improving maintainability and functionality using Typescript and Redux Sagas

• locating, isolating, and removing various performance bottlenecks in high-traffic user actions speeding up times by up to 3.5x and simplifying internal context API using Webpack and React/Chrome profilers

As an intern, I worked with the services team initially building integrations in Kotlin with third party APIs for easy user interaction with companies like Slack and Box.

Then, on the developer experience team, I worked on several projects including:

• implementing key features such as a save modal to enhance developer experience using Typescript, React, and Redux

• surveying alternative choices to the main editor and integrating Monaco improving builder times and independence

• applying ANTLR’s state transitions to enable context-aware autocomplete in the editor with Jest tests to reduce regressions

Developed pipeline to scrape wikipedia based on subject to develop a synonym database, adjusting column mappings based on fuzzy sets and a noisy channel model improving the discovery of similar datasets by an estimated 20%
