Worked with clinical geneticists to create bioinformatics pipelines in AWS for analyzing cardiovascular disease

risk and drug response (PGx).

• Used industry standard tools such as samtools, bcftools etc. to debug issues and support clinical lab operations

which included variant and gene curation and the diagnosis of rare and undiagnosed genetic diseases.

• Developed a visualization platform for the lab using Typescript and Rust centered around the novel

visualization of whole genome data.

• Developed a full stack application for the tracking, management, and analysis of genomic data using

Typescript, NextJS and Postgresql.

• Designed and implemented a distributed application written in Python and c++ for matching genomic data to a database of more than 1 million samples.

• Built scalable backend processes/pipelines using Postgresql and Python for managing large volumes of genetic data coming from the lab.

• Worked with R&D to take bioinformatics machine learning projects from experimental prototypes to production pipelines.

• Oversaw the integration of Nomad for managing application deployment across different hosts and data centers.

Assisted in managing scoring systems and automating paperwork for the Science and Engineering Fair Houston 2018.
