I led a team of 8 talented designers that were responsible for driving the design output of the Creative Studio. Over the past 6 months we delivered: an evolution of our brand identity across the customer journey, a robust and scalable design system and a comprehensive playbook for how BILL approaches demand generation marketing.

Following Bill.com's acquisition of Invoice2go and Divvy, I was responsible for transitioning our Creative Studio team into the BILL's go-to-market team. During our first year at BILL we were charged with raising the creative bar for all integrated go-to-market campaigns. This focused on; demand generation campaigns, product launches, customer focused content creation and employee communications.

In September 2022, my team worked closely with Core Brand to implement a refreshed playbook for Bill.com, rebranding the company to BILL.

Following the arrival of new C-Suite management, the Creative Studio was formed at Invoice2go. I was responsible for hiring and leading a talented team of creatives to help Invoice2go become the one-stop shop for customers to run their small businesses their way.

I grew the global team from 0 to 7 creatives, including brand, motion, and UX designers, copywriters, project managers, and content strategists.

The result? In September 2021, Invoice2go was acquired by Bill.com for approximately $625 million.

After the brand refresh, I was offered a permanent role to drive creative go-to-market efforts for all new customer acquisition growth. As Invoice2go's sole brand designer, I focused on the website, paid advertising, and app store. Later, I turned my attention to key moments in the product that drove new customer growth. Initiatives such as improving a trial customer’s first-time experience, feature education, and simplifying the upgrade flow helped grow the company to 230,000 small business customers worldwide.
