Lead design across Horizon, Avatars, Creation Tools, and the Meta Developer Platform — product surfaces spanning web, mobile, and MR/VR environments.
• Build and lead a global design organization of 40+ across product design, content design, and design management — spanning multiple time zones and disciplines.
• Design and evolve the org structure to match shifting business priorities, including standing up vertical pod teams that improve cross-functional execution and delivery speed.

• Lead design of foundational MR/VR experiences, including Avatars and Creation Tools, shaping how people express themselves and build in immersive environments.

Wanderu is a Boston based startup that makes it super simple to book bus and train travel. I'm responsible for creating the startup's visual brand identity from the ground up. In addition to brand design, I also lead UX and product design for the e-commerce website as well as the iOS/Android apps. As part of the executive team, I work closely with the CEO & COO (co-founders) to help facilitate alignment of the business goals and user needs. I drive a human-centered design approach across all customer experiences while working through the unique challenges present in the ground transportation industry in North America and Europe.

Leadership

• Designing and maintaining Wanderu’s visual brand identity
• Ensuring visual cohesion in all of Wanderu’s customer-facing experiences
UX/UI Design

• Conducting in-person and online user testing to identify areas of opportunity and or existing pain-points.
