Lead EM-led, globally distributed engineering organizations owning Spotify’s revenue and forecasting platforms, supporting $16B+ in annual revenue across subscriptions, Ads, and emerging products.
• Own end-to-end engineering outcomes for Order-to-Cash (Revenue) and Forecast-to-Plan platforms, spanning billing, revenue recognition, financial controls, and forecasting
• Lead a global org of ~28 engineers, including 3 Engineering Managers, across the US, Canada, EU, and Middle East
• Drove a full redesign of subscription revenue platforms (~$14B) into a self-serve, platform-based architecture, reducing financial launch timelines from months to weeks (Q4 ’24)
• Led a systemic overhaul of Ads financial processing (~$2B), replacing manual and last-leg automations with a data-driven platform:
• Reduced monthly close by 1.5 days
• Eliminated 600+ hours/month of manual effort
• Achieved 99.06% completeness and accuracy via automated SOX controls
• Shifted teams from bespoke solutions to platform-first architectures, prioritizing long-term ROI over short-term delivery pressure
• Delivered critical financial milestones under flat budgets since 2023, using internal mobility, targeted hiring, n-1 backfills, and selective contracting to manage OPEX
• Built and sustained a strong EM bench with clear accountability, succession depth, and ~2% attrition (org-wide low)
