Full Stack Tech Lead who built Portal as part of the launch team and created exciting new integrations and experiences for Facebook's first in-home hardware product including Messenger and WhatsApp Calling, AR Effects, Messenger Rooms, In-Call Sharing and making the product GDPR and ePrivacy Directive compliant.

• Devised a macro to facilitate maintainability and coherence of newsfeed ranking configurations through feature substitutions.

• Developed plugins for autocomplete, search, etc. to provide smart editor support for making critical feed ranking changes

• Redesigned news feed debugging tool UX for increased usability and performance. Created a waterfall model for different ranking stages and comparing multiple stories.

Developed insights and tools to correlate emotions on social media with social ties, historical weather, geographical and crime data along with the Santa Monica Government to create a digital observatory for monitoring well-being. Worked with Professors Kristina Lerman and Emilio Ferrara.
