1st rotation in Enterprise Machine Learning Tools (Aug ’22 – Sep’23)
• Contributed feature additions, enhancements and bug-fixes to enterprise standard libraries (python based) that support model developers across the firm, achieved AWS Solutions Architect Certification
• Recognized as one of Capital One’s top open source contributors via the Rubicon-ml library (ML workflow tool)
• Produced idea to train incoming ML engineers on the team’s enterprise ML tools to increase utilization and meet team goals for tool adoption, thus helping get ML models to market faster (600+ developers trained to date)
2nd rotation in Finance Data & Innovation Strategy (Aug '23 - March '24)
• Created an automation script to parse dataset intake forms and produce config and other pipeline files to save developer time during legacy application decommissioning and data pipeline migration to a modernized python ETL pattern
3rd Rotation in Enterprise Data Tech - Databricks Platform Team (March '24 - present)
• Writing SQL queries and python job scripts for a platform health metrics dashboard (for leadership to quickly view compute costs, usage, platform health, etc of the internal Databricks environment)
• Learning to use terraform for cloud infrastructure and resource management of Databricks at Capital One
