• Worked to speed up the development process by allowing changes in the TypeScript code to be made outside the regular deployment pipeline via LaunchDarkly flags and other external tools.

• Built a monitoring system to keep track of the uptime status of backend services and components of the Siri Visual Search stack. Used internal APIs to make requests that simulated a user’s input, capable of isolating the failures to their originating component.

• Designed a frontend to display the reliability statistics sliced over different time periods, verticals, and other dimensions, and a real time dashboard to diagnose failures immediately.
