As a Staff Software Engineer at Cork, I'm responsible for building our game-changing inside out cyber risk monitoring and warranty product tailored for the MSP community. My role involves developing Cork's user-friendly software solutions that enable MSPs to effortlessly protect their clients' digital assets across the diverse landscape of 23,000+ security controls, all while providing MSPs financial protection against cybersecurity threats without the burden of lengthy paperwork or questionnaires.

From designing new features to ensuring the platform runs smoothly, my aim is to make cyber protection simple and accessible, so MSPs can seamlessly monitor and mitigate cyber risks, all while enhancing their bottom line.

• Productionized the developer tools by instrumenting the application for distributed tracing between services, adding error tracking, and capturing release information in Sentry to easily identify and resolve issues in the wild.

◦ When upstream issues were uncovered, I worked with the maintainers to identify and fix problems.

• Maintained web application to interact with development environments, written in React and backed by Django REST API, which interacts with various backends like OpenStack and Kubernetes.

• Created developer tooling to streamline complex development environment creation, which became essential for software development throughout the entire Datto organization, resulting in 2x speedup in automated testing and enabling many teams to quickly onboard and develop new features.

• Trailblazed the first containerization efforts of web services at Datto on Kubernetes, using Helm and Vault, created a reusable shared library chart for easier onboarding of future projects, and added developer tools to migrate and onboard new environments with newly containerized applications in a seamless manner.
