Tech lead on Google Cloud Service Mesh

1. Architected and deployed next-generation cloud infrastructure by integrating service mesh technologies on Kubernetes to establish scalable, zero-trust security systems and advanced traffic control.

2. Leading the design of a unified hybrid service mesh that seamlessly connects serverless (cloudrun), Kubernetes (GKE), and VM workloads. A required initiative for Agentic cloud.

3.Led Zero Trust initiatives for service meshes, implementing robust authentication (mTLS) and authorization.

4. Previously served as a security maintainer and release manager for Istio, one of the most widely adopted open-source service meshes.

5. Designed and implemented a service mesh focused API, enabling seamless integration and management of distributed workloads. Previously worked on supporting Istio and K8s Gateway APIs in Google's Cloud Service Mesh.

• Designed and developed a full-stack application to connect different Amazon Seller Central pages owned by different teams and guided sellers on these pages to do required operations. Increased the user activity from 54% to 85%.

• Created AWS IAM secured microservices using API Gateway and released them using automated CI/CD pipelines

• Implemented Serverless Lambda functions which consumes data from DynamoDB tables.

• Achieved a code coverage of more than 90% by writing junit test using Mockito

• Solved a complex frontend latency issue by designing light weight vanillaJS web components on top of React apps.
