Core backend contributor on the Container Tools / Permissions squad, building and evolving a BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) to proxy requests from WMG’s container app into platforms like Co-op.
Resolved a launch-blocking Okta SSO interoperability issue between container app and Co-op by diagnosing incompatible issuers and implementing the fix for seamless authentication across apps.
Led key work in migrating Co-op from legacy permissions to AuthAPI-backed permissions, ensuring safe rollout via feature flags and preserving production uptime/behavior during the transition.
Proactively identified and remediated a high-risk permissions discrepancy (“no labels” meaning all labels in legacy vs zero labels in new model), implementing correct gating logic and escalating the incident.
Built/owned major portions of the new management/settings capabilities (users, labels, label groups) by designing BFF endpoints that coordinated writes across Co-op + AuthAPI, including end-to-end delivery of a sub-label request workflow.
