ISSUES MANAGEMENT
Led Chevron’s Issues Management/Legislative and Regulatory Advocacy corporate process to manage regulatory risks with operational, financial, or reputational impact.
• Collaborated with relevant SMEs across organization, researched and analyzed extensive background information to build technical understanding of complex issues and articulate precise issue positions
• Achieved cross-functional alignment and developed issue position papers and advocacy plans that promoted consistency and managed risks across managed issues; presented papers and advocacy plans to senior management for approval of action
• Produced key messages, talking points, analytical memoranda, presentations and other materials to support proactive and consistent stakeholder engagements at all government levels
• In response to requests from government and industry groups, developed TCO recommendations on policy topics and cascaded information from these bodies to internal stakeholders
• Managed activities of cross-functional Issues Working Group and Issues Governance Board
• Liaised with Chevron Eurasia Business Unit through participation in Advocacy Governance Committee
• Tracked and managed stakeholder engagement and issues management records in CRM and built monthly and quarterly reports
• Managed change and facilitated successful transfer of ownership of issues management process from Policy, Government and Public Affairs department to Legal department as part of Regulatory Affairs' re-structuring in company
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
• Deployed new Legal department website by developing site in Microsoft SharePoint and managing all communications to users, including department and company leadership
• Delivered company-wide presentation to launch website
• Provided website user support; reviewed and addressed website visitor feedback, liaising with IT as necessary
• Supported new coordinator in previously-managed SEMS project as needed.
