ApplyBoard is an EdTech company that believes "education is a right, not a privilege". As a member of engineering team I work in Recruitment and Channel Management team with a mission to provide services and capabilities that drive growth and profitability for our Recruitment Partners.

Being part of a fast paced and high growth startup, we have to deliver reliable and scalable services and also constantly monitor and revisit the existing solutions in order to improve them. As a full stack developer, here are some of the things that I work on:

• Properly structuring our code bases and following best practices

• Ensure quality and properly testing the applications

• Designing our API endpoints and properly documenting them

• Optimizing our code to make it fast and efficient

• Improving the CI/CD pipeline

• Improving communication and data flow between services

• Properly storing and handling data in our applications

Vena is enterprise class software solution for financial planing and analysis. It automates manual processes and delivers insightful analysis that guides the whole business. Being part of the Product team at Vena, I have a dual role of Software Developer and Scrum Master. These are the main responsibilities:

• Designing and developing flexible, efficient, object-oriented server code in Java

• Developing and maintaining front-end web applications using React/Redux

• Leading an Agile team as a Scrum Master, helping with plannings and project kick-offs

• Helping with the product road map and monitoring team progress

• Refactoring, simplifying, and optimizing code so we can develop new features more efficiently

• Contribute to building our environment that embraces continuous integration through the use of automated testing

• Adapting the latest software technologies while developing innovative

functionality to improve software performance and usability
