Lead program for Supernatural Product Development Org (all customer-facing and internal facing-apps, ~80 XFN). Advising Supernatural Studio leadership team on strategic planning cycles and internal product development processes. Recursively manage team of 7 program managers, receiving the highest manager feedback stats among all engineering disciplines.
Major accomplishments:
★ Managing through acquisition: achieved 0% non-regrettable attrition in 18 months post-acquisition. As a result, 7 development squads were fully staffed with TPMs ensuring sprints were planned and features launched at a consistent, pre-acquisition velocity.
★ Data Unification (DU): partnering with Head of Product and Head of Technology to define a 2-year DU roadmap and assign resources to efforts under considerable time pressure, managing weekly syncs, developing a weekly reporting system, and co-developing a DU KPI reporting system across ~2K technical components and dependencies.
★ Technology organization restructuring from squads to project teams: in collaboration with engineering leadership, I restructured all disciplines (including: EM, TPM, PM, and QA) into project teams to address a shift in company priorities. Lead all the change management including: concepting, designing and rolling out project teams and progress tracker.
★ Lockdowns: led execution of multiple product development org lockdowns to accelerate specific project efforts. Cited by engineers as the chief reason we met our KPI goals, which was previously seen as widely unrealistic. Co-developed a repeatable and scalable playbook for all of Metaverse.
★ Go-to-market tiers: creation, rollout and adoption of a shared feature development language and feature development process among engineering, product, design and marketing.
★ Onsites: identified the need and executed the planning and facilitation of multiple TPM and XFN onsites covering technical skill building, relationship building, and team definition.
