• Served as tech lead for a team of 6 engineers managing shipping and inventory business rules across Wayfair’s customer-facing websites.
• Handled the on-call rotation for critical user-facing shipping and inventory issues, and was the primary point of contact during peak consumer holidays like Black Friday.
• Developed a loosely coupled postal code input library for usage throughout the conversion funnel.
• Converted key frontend components from a legacy in-house framework to React/Redux.
• Performed JavaScript and PHP code reviews as the primary reviewer for my team and domain.
• Adapted a massive legacy REST schema into several new GraphQL schemas. Worked with app leads to come up with more generic, flexible fields for these new endpoints.
