Payments Platform
• Building robust and resilient backend services to enhance the availability and reliability of PayPal’s core payments platform.
• Driving engineering initiatives to consistently achieve 99.999% (five nines) availability - with a roadmap toward six nines and beyond.
• Designing and implementing fault-tolerant systems to proactively prevent FCIs(Failed customer interactions) and ensure seamless transaction experiences at scale.
Key Projects:
• ML-based Recovery System: Built a robust machine learning–powered recovery system to enhance customer experience, minimize transaction failures, and improve platform availability.
• PayPal Debit Cards (PayPal Everywhere - PPDC): Worked on enabling global debit card integration, expanding PayPal’s payments ecosystem.
• PYUSD at Checkout: Delivered the ability to use PYUSD (PayPal USD stablecoin) as an alternate payment method, expanding digital currency adoption.
• Pay in 4 Initiatives: Contributed to the rollout and optimization of PayPal’s Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services, enhancing payment flexibility for millions of customers.
Besides my primary work I also try to contribute towards improving the code health & readability of organization's large codebase.
