Helsinki, Uusimaa, Finland
At Unikie I play my role as UX lead and mostly work with a project (Port Activity App) in collaboration with the Finnish govt authority (Fintrafic) and various ports in Finland, Sweden, and some other parts of Europe). I am mainly responsible for transforming ideas (new features) into an intuitive user interface through a human-centered approach, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation for both web and mobile. Often act as a front-end developer with my skill set (ReactJs, JavaScript, Ant-design, CSS-styled components, SCSS, HTML, and CSS) to implement the design plan. So far I have designed new features from sketch to live screen for both ship and port operation (E.g. Port of Kokkola, Port of Helsinki, and many more). New features are the following: - Marine weather (forecast, temperature, wind, gust, rain, humidity, sea level, and so on) - Predictive berth planning tool (PBPT) - Crean planning tool (CPT) - Fleet view (to observe the wide range of vessels in a single web screen) - Smart space (trailers monitoring system) - Service order for ship and port authority - Incidence report and so on Along with that, I have introduced a new design system for the platform and Improved the overall user experience through a continuous iteration process and day-to-day collaboration with developers. Tools and tech stack Design methodology: mostly use Lean UX principals Design tools: Figma, FigJam, Balsamic, Confluence, and so on IDE: VS code Tech stack for front-end: ReactJs, Javascript, Ant-design, CSS-styled component, HTML, CSS and so on.
