I develop a software toolset (in C++) used for validating Intel's latest products. The toolset focuses on power management and USB flows. The software is cross platform with primary focus on Windows and Linux solutions full-stack.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop C++ programs used for validating Intel’s latest products in client computers, devices (handhelds), and servers. Development includes both back-end and GUI (front-end) engagement
• Scrum Master on team working in Agile environment
• Program lead for software tool used during critical early-stage power management testing
• QA program lead. Built and owned team QA process. Successfully deployed program to entire software life cycle with full team engagement
• Customer Engagement and Enabling Lead as single point of contact for customers. Quickly resolve test issues and support test enablement
Accomplishments:
• Mentored several new team members - both interns and new hires
• Designed and drove new QA process that both increased quality and decreased regression time
• Led code refactoring effort to ensure new developments were reusable across Intel segments
• Brought UX design practices to team. Pushed ‘customer-first’ mindset by creating user guide, porting GUI to Linux, and prioritized UI improvements
