I work at Meta driving R&D efforts to develop and ship new technology in MR/VR/AR and AI.
• Shaped the evolution of Meta's core mixed reality platform — driving the device from a rudimentary understanding of physical space to being capable of fully immersive MR experiences. Contributed to Scene API, Instant Placement, Assisted Scene Capture, Anchors, and Occlusion, influencing both the capabilities developers build with and the experiences users encounter.
• Lead designer for Hyperscape: enabling people and businesses to scan their physical spaces and generate photorealistic, shareable 3D environments, shipped across Meta's platforms.
• Designed early experiences for Orion, Meta's AR glasses, including holographic calling, messaging, and spatial activities that informed the device's direction.
• Designed real-time social AR effects, multi-participant experiences, and foundational virtual object frameworks for Spark AR, powering new categories of creative expression across Messenger, Instagram, and Portal.
• Managed a platform capabilities team in R&D for 1.5 years before choosing to return to hands-on design as an IC.
