Meta Reality Labs : VR Device Access Team

• Developed technical design, implementation, and experiment to launch a new feature to restrict access for logged-out Meta Quest users, leading to a 24% increase in relogin success rate, and 11% reduction in the number of users stuck in the logged-out state.

• Led a cross-functional team of engineers, design, and PM to ship several key UX improvements to the passcode experience on Meta Quest.

• Coordinated the migration of the Quest passcode code to a new, more extensible architecture, completing this for my own team and then overseeing its successful integration in client apps by partnering with engineers in each team.

• Completed a refactor of the code for the Quest passcode feature, eliminating duplication across two repositories and increasing comprehensibility and maintainability by deleting over 13k lines of extraneous code.

Meta Reality Labs : Portal Device Infrastructure Team

• Developed technical design, implementation, and experiment to launch new input methods for user login on Portal, including QR code login.

Interned at Facebook on the Ads Conversion Experiences team to build tools in Hack and React for advertising metrics. Also created an original system for aggregating and displaying data about advertiser penalties for use across multiple Ads teams.

Worked as a SWE intern at Indeed on the Chaos Engineering team to deliver tools to enable destructive testing for a variety of applications.
