• Conducted economic research with Jonathan Zinman on the over-assessment of residential property value by the city of Detroit.
• Designed and implemented a heavily optimized, distributed web-scraping program for gathering information on over 300,000 property parcels through over 1,000,000 individual webpages, overall putting the project’s progress ahead by three weeks.
• Wrote distributed software designed for Dartmouth’s HPC cluster to parse, filter, and analyze raw scraped data.
• Carried out miscellaneous data processing and modeling tasks to generate a custom property value model for the city of Detroit.
• Currently assisting a non-profit in building an automated appeal pipeline with Flask, React, and Selenium to help low-income families access fair property tax rates.
