Create, execute, and manage event resources on the Google Mountain View Campus (setups, power needs, and janitorial) while working cross functionally with the catering, AV/VC operations, security, and IT teams to ensure successful events for over sixty on-site venues.
Key Contributions:
• Supervise daily operations and development of Events Team (team of 6 people) to ensure a successful and streamlined flow of events for Mountain View and San Bruno offices.
• Defined, analyzed, and reported resource metrics to senior management on a regular basis, which enabled Manpower and Google management to assess and execute upon the resourcing strategy.
• Lead the weekly Meeting and Events Team (METeam) meeting with all support teams under the METeam umbrella to ensure all teams are synced on current week’s high profile events.
• Successfully coordinated over 3,700 events as of September 2010, with an average of 180 events per month. Events included product launches, top-level executive summits, company wide meetings, celebrity and diplomatic appearances, luncheons, university tours/ speaker series and receptions (e.g. Taylor Swift at Google, Googleween, Engineering Ops Career Fair, Android Summer Concert Series, and all company wide meetings).
• Revamped and maintain internal and external Manpower Events website to provide updated and accurate information of venues and resources for coordinators and clients. Resulted in a decrease of general inquiries from clients by 40%.
