Reporting directly to the CISO regarding AI Security & AI Governance at Zendesk.

I lead the implementation of Zendesk's AI Governance for its product and internal AI tools. Most notably, under my leadership and execution:

• Zendesk became one of the first CX companies certified ISO 42001, with all Zendesk AI features certified and aligned with NIST AI RMF (Sept 2025)

• Zendesk became the first company listed by Cloud Security Alliance as STAR AI Level 1. (Oct 2025)

• Zendesk became the first company listed by Cloud Security Alliance as STAR AI Level 2. (Nov 2025)

I also lead the AI Security program at Zendesk. My responsibilities and deliveries also include leading AI Security research, AI Trust thought-leadership and related business enablement.

I am advising the company on AI Security, Trust, and Governance.

Applied AI research in Threat Detection and Identity Security to research and develop security controls (Bot detection, adaptive Multi-factor authentication, user fingerprint and user profiling, SQL Injection detection, anomaly detection) features and products. I lead cross-team efforts between threat researchers, data scientists, and software engineers to push AI-based features to production.

I also lead the AI & Security thought leadership (1) internally (collaborated with Legal & Compliance to guide Okta’s understanding of the impact of AI regulation on our AI-based products and processes, developed multiple trainings for technical and non-technical internal audiences to gain fluency in AI-related topics), and (2) externally: I work with Content Marketing to write external facing blogs to educate our customers about AI and its impact, I published research papers in academic conferences (CAMLIS 2023), and industry conferences (EIC 2024, LWT 2024).

In 2023, I received the Okta Aura Award for outstanding performance.

Applied research and product development in AI for Identity Security (ML-based security controls), Platform (Anomaly Detection), user and developer experience (Data Mining) for Okta | Customer Identity Cloud Product Unit (Formerly AuthØ). I also actively work toward AI literacy, AI Governance & Ethics, and thought leadership for AI applied to cybersecurity. Finally, I am developing models to measure the impact of AI-based products at Okta.

As an applied ML researcher, I lead R&D projects to leverage alternative data for factor modeling. My role includes managing and mentoring 4 junior data scientists, designing and implement novel

ML solutions on parallelized cloud computing platform, and stakeholder management. Recent implementations on Spark include label propagation, community detection, frequent item set mining, and other graph analytics algorithms.
