In addition to the DTP project, I concurrently worked as a project manager leading the DEI and community engagement during pre-construction on the I-5 Rose Quarter owned by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). The project’s transportation improvements allow the city to implement the development goals for the N/NE area and realize the Portland City’s Central City 2035 Plan.

I joined Raimore Construction in 2019 on the TriMet-owned Division Transit Project (DTP) leading the contractor and client team coordination, and project controls to streamline field and office teams to reach shared goals. Raimore Construction is a black-owned business that won the largest contract ever awarded to a DBE firm in Oregon and the North-West. The DTP meant a great growth phase for Raimore Construction. I have taken great pride in leading and mentoring a team of up to six growing professionals in construction management fundamentals of design, project cost, schedule, safety, and quality.

I was the schedule manager leading the scheduling, identification of critical path, DEI initiative, change management, and pay request. I led meetings with the project stakeholders and client (Sound Transit) to communicate the DEI initiative progress, project schedule, pay application requests, and report the progress of the project. Also, I projected, estimated, and reported the remaining work to complete using innovative charts and reporting visuals.
