Led the development of new functionality and bug fixes as a full stack engineer for the main product, including automation for property appraisals and queuing system for underwriters. Led a team of 5, using sprint planning, standup, and OKRs to plan work. Implemented the Tumblr Firehose, a real-time 200GB/day data stream that external clients could consume. Developed internal video transcoder, service to remove content from CDNs, and low latency post ID generator. Involved in various other services such as logging, metrics, image uploading, monetizing links, rate limiting, and sending email and push notifications.

Worked on two low latency trading platforms. Improved code quality through the use of unit and integration testing.
