* Introduced the github Pull Request system to the webteam's overall workflow.
* Created Comic Panel Viewing for web from the ground up to enhance user experience around the platform's comic based media
* Implemented a Live Reading Challenge Ticker, allowing users worldwide to track how many books were being completed each day, as well as how much time was remaining for the challenge period.
* Created internal tooling to generate commonly used components for designs within our marketing website to free up development time during heavy promotional sales periods.
* Contributed to the migration effort from AngularJS to Angular14, refactoring or completely rewriting components and controllers to work in a hybrid environment, while being easy to remove when the switch was fully complete.
* Managed Product Promotions pages year-round, based on marketing team requests -- what promos were being run, through which avenues, through which URL extensions, etc.
* Operated in a heavily cross-team oriented work environment, and process. This included project planning, tech spec writeups, projected timelines, identifying and cutting the fat in projects, working through component designs from the UX/UI perspective, and more that comes with cross-team collaboration.
* Collaborated with team members to define new process/meeting schedule to improve release reliability and quality while maintaining a weekly release schedule.
* Assisted in coordinating the creation process for pod rotations to avoid confusion and improve knowledge spread across team members.
* Provided support to team members on pushback against unreasonable deadlines to avoid burnout, poor work quality, and to combat poor planning.
* Conducted a multitude of technical interviews, screening for technical skills, communication skills, and overall softskills for positions of Associate and Senior level engineers.
