Leaders in my organization are responsible for the Amazon Wallet and the end to end paying experience on Amazon’s sites and store fronts around the globe. I lead product, engineering, marketing, applied science, and operations teams that build and operate new payment products and experiences, as well as develop and lead Amazon’s strategic FinTech and payments partner partnerships. This includes ownership of global products and platforms as well as payments in North America and EU as well as Amazon’s payments businesses in Japan inclusive of the Amazon.co.jp co-brand credit card and gift card business.

Lead the team which is responsible for all aspects of how people pay on Amazon including the customer experience at checkout, the strategic relationships with participants in the ecosystem, and developing or accepting new payment methods.

• Own new payment method product definition and go-to-market strategy

• Develop and execute on payment acceptance profitability strategy

• Lead payment method expansion to support new business launches, acquisitions and international expansion

• Drive strategy and development of software and products to increase adoption and usage of Amazon branded payment methods

• Responsible for all payments partner and industry relationships including business development, partner selection and contract negotiations

• Lead customer payment authentication and security initiatives

• Represent Amazon on various payments industry boards and associations
