BookMooch Go is the first mobile-optimized portal for the preexisting desktop platform BookMooch.com, a global book-swap site with over 300,000 registered members spread across the world.

The app offers most of the functionality shared by the desktop version, including but not limited to: login to a customized user-profile, listing of your own books for donation, searching for books to request, requesting books from other users, and managing logistics of sending/reception of these book requests.

I built BookMooch Go with React, Sass, Express, and GraphQL linking to BookMooch's public API, which is stored in a MySQL database.

ChitChat is a web platform where foreign classrooms connect in real-time for language and cultural exchange with peers, all with the safety of supervision by their teachers. Native speakers of each language are able to offer key insights on current usage patterns and modern vocabulary. The platform is intended to supplement and improve traditional, classroom-based methods of language education.

DigiCook is a robust and elegant application for uploading and sharing recipes with friends, family and the world.

I was brought on to convert the existing codebase into TypeScript and to build out testing with Jest and Enzyme.

DigiCook is built with React, Redux, Express(Node.js) and MongoDB
