Design, produce, and maintain software infrastructure for automated, system-level testing of robot vacuums. Serve as the lead for ground truth systems (GTS), a collection of tools that produce unbiased, time-synced trajectory data.
• Designed and delivered an in-house camera-based GTS that ran as a distributed Windows desktop app.
• Replaced the user interface of an existing GTS that had significant usability issues preventing deployment.
• Integrated in-house GTS with an automated testing pipeline, greatly increasing nightly testing capabilities.
• Enhanced over a dozen individual test fixtures by adding ground truth tracking capabilities.
• Rapidly designed an automated solution to grade cleanliness in a repeatable manner using image processing.
