I joined Zume to lead the company's efforts to align all data investments in a single strategy. Zume is disruptive company trying to bring sustainability to the food supply chain and a key element is data and advanced analytics.
I was able to assemble an amazing team (grew from 6 to 60+), develop a new aligned data platform, hire/develop/partner with great leaders under me for data fabric, analytics, visualization/experiences, and AI. The team of people we assembled was second to none and still inspires me today with ongoing connections and learning. We also got the opportunity to start working on the next generation of sustainable farm and supply chain connection tech beyond just the data, and the lessons all across the team and customers and products was exceptional.
Coronavirus was the black swan that forced us all to find a new path while Zume streamlines to pursue a leaner purpose for now.
