Focused on the transition from a legacy node.js system to ruby on rails, ensuring well tested, maintainable and reliable product components.

Delivered member facing product features while working with a team of fellow engineers, product managers and designers. The particular focus of this role is driving engagement on the platform by making product more interactive and customized for the user and their team.

In this role, I build out the InfiSense product to get sensor data into the hands of our customers with ease, standardization, and impact. My role is dynamic and requires me to see a project through design, implementation across the stack, qa, and deployment/maintenance. It's my job to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and bring speed, dependability and sustainability to our software solutions.

Technologies I use include Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS (Dynamodb, SQS, Eventbridge, Lambda, Cloudwatch, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk) Docker, MQTT, REST API, Flask, and Git.

As a developer on a small team of engineers I contribute across our stack on production code but have a focus on our backend infrastructure written within a Ruby on Rails framework. My code contributions are source controlled, PR reviewed, and integrated through a CI/CD pipeline. The team has a strong focus on unit and integration testing. I work closely with Energy Engineers to translate their domain into software that serves our customers. The application is hosted in GCP and backed by a PostgresSQL database.
