I oversee engineering execution and team development across the application development group while remaining hands-on in delivery. I led technical execution across multiple full-stack, cloud-based federal software projects, focusing on system design, CI/CD implementation, testing strategy, and containerized deployments. I delivered secure, compliant solutions for federal criminal investigation clients while modernizing legacy applications and mentoring engineers across the team.

As a senior member of the payouts team, I developed software that handles thousands of daily payouts and employed Kotlin, Spring Boot, AWS, Python, PHP, and Kubernetes. I integrated Adyen and Stripe payment APIs, significantly expanding global payment capabilities. I also collaborated on transitioning legacy systems to a webhook-based paradigm for improved efficiency and reliability. Additionally, I designed efficient API endpoints using OpenAPI and Swagger for enhanced system interoperability. I departed due to a company-wide layoff that impacted 12% of the staff.

I led the development of web and mobile applications for clients across multiple industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical publishing, and banking. During this time, I successfully deployed over a dozen native mobile applications to the Apple AppStore, Google Play Store, and Amazon Kindle Store. I designed and implemented pipelines for streaming chemical manufacturing data from edge to cloud using messaging queues, time-series databases, and Azure IOT. I also presented AWS migration plans, oversaw disaster recovery planning, and managed change/release management initiatives.
