AzulQ - Browser-based system to automate boarding of new members due to Vacation Ownership initiative - initial system as well as several major enhancement cycles (C#, SQL, ASP.Net, AJAX)
Secure Forms - a collection of miscellaneous forms available to members via credit union's web site that allows for handling of various banking-related functions (C#, SQL, ASP.Net)
Numerous systems and projects involving Viewstar - a 3rd party BPM and document storage system (C#, SQL, ASP.Net, Entity Framework, console and window applications, Viewstar API - both COM and web-services based)
• Automate loading and indexing of member statements and notices
• Cause documents from multiple departments to be processed via BPM workflows and routed into storage system, eliminating lost and mis-routed documents, as well as allowing for timings of processes
• Enhance scanning-station indexing by eliminating manual entry of data by retrieving needed information from core system
• Allow users to self-index documents, rather than manually having them scanned and indexed by single person
Participated in massive corporate/vendor project to reassign about half of the account numbers
1998 — 2005
One of a small group of people that wrote the (credit union) Shared Branch Transactional Processing specifications. This involved the (at that time) three existing Shared Branch providers - CUSC, FISC, and Service Centers
Supervised a small group of developers who were involved with numerous tasks and projects. This did include reviews and career development.
Led the design, writing, implementation, and support of a corporate "check register" system. Our company would create and distribute checks for credit union members, and the tracking of those checks would all be done manually, with the aid of Excel spreadsheets. Any access of the status information by tellers in the branches would involve a call back to headquarters, often with a wait of at least one day. This system would allow an immediate online lookup of the status of the checks by both headquarter and branch employees. VB.Net, ADO.Net, SQL Server 2000, T-SQL, ASP.NET
Developed a set of programs that could be used for testing the online programs, as well as for certifying new vendors and credit unions. (COBOL, DMSII, VB.6, VB.NET, SQL)
Maintained and enhanced online programs. This set of programs took in online transactions from various vendors (e.g., STAR, MasterCard, Visa), logged them, converted them to the appropriate format, and sent them to a credit union. The reply messages would be matched with the initial transaction, logged, converted back to the expected format, and sent to the appropriate vendor. (COBOL, DMSII)
Y2K - Involved with upgrading all existing programs and databases to make them Y2K compatible (COBOL, DMSII)
